PITAC Governing Body Meeting

The 65^th Meeting of PITAC Governing Body was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Ajaz Ahmad, Additional Secretary-I, MOIP, on Monday 4^th June, 2018 at 04:30 P.M., in Committee Room of PITAC, Lahore.
The Chairman, PITAC Governing Body appreciated the performance of PITAC, its future plans and collaboration with UNIDO for improving industrialization and to sign MOU between Pakistan Industrial Technical Assistance Centre (PITAC) and Jiangsu University, China (JSU) in diverse area of mutual interest such as:

1. Technology Transfer.
2. Faculty Development Program (FDP).
3. Faculty Exchange Program (FEP).
4. Joint Research.
5. Student Exchange Program (SEP).
6. Academic Development.

Governing Body approved the collaboration of PITAC with Jiangsu University China (JSU) to establish a long term cooperation.
Furthermore, the Governing Body approved the revival of PIET’s Functions by establishment the Entrepreneurship Training & Development Operational at PITAC Headquarter, Lahore to motivate the youths to organize and manage small businesses and startups as promising entrepreneurs to overcome the problems of unemployment of the country.
The Governing Body also ratified the decisions of Executive Committee on policy, administrative and financial matters taken in its 64^th, 65^th& 66^th Meetings held on 11^th June, 2017, 12^th January, 2018 & 10^th February, 2018 respectively.
